Re: Skype installation
I'm sad to lose Skype: can anyone persuade Microsoft to provide a Deb inslaller?IoannisTsoulos wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2025 12:39 pm I have tried this page also, but it did not work for me. It points me to update skype from the snap package. Also, they have shutdown the repo for some months now..
Would Skype work from a fresh W10 installation?

True, Charles, but many people get away with many foolish things......CharlesV wrote: Sat Dec 21, 2024 12:33 pm Many people use Brave browser without incident. This, like so many other things, comes down to "your mileage may very".
What essential advantage over other browsers does Brave offer?

Re: Brave Browser Wont Open [Solved]
I have completely removed Brave because it caused me to lose capabilities and data which I wanted to keep.
I will never use Brave again, but alas the damage is done!
I believe Brave is based on Chrome which may be the reason for its misbehaviour.
AVOID BRAVE-BROWSER!

Re: Chiclet keyboards.
Thanks, Stevo,
But I have three of these keyboards: they all (miss)behave in the same way.
Maybe they would work on some system which I do not possess: so what?
For me they are useless.
Thanks again for trying to help.
David.
