Re: Wired connection troubles with Liquorix 6.13.* series [Solved]

j2mcgreg, so I'll just have to be careful with or see what happens with new kernels then since I have a UEFI system. Correct? I suppose there's nothing I can do about this. Right?

Is the CSM module removable or not?

Wired connection troubles with Liquorix 6.13.* series [Solved]

I use an ethernet cable wired connection from my desktop tower computer to the modem. Everything was always working fine with my connection when I used the 6.12.* series of liquorix kernels but as soon as this kernel went to the 6.13.* series, my wired connection would instantly become erratic ...

Re: Links in VA messages I get lead to broken, useless pages

"Good info" means text, something to view and read. "Useless webpages" simply means an error, i. e. nothing to read but something like "something's wrong". Re: Request MX-23: latest HPLIP 3.24.4 [Solved]

Yes, I see it there but why should I install that test package when the printer's now working with the installed standard hplip package found in Synaptic?

Re: Request MX-23: latest HPLIP 3.24.4 [Solved]

The printer's now working. When I got this printer, I first turned to the HP user's manual for this model. I found the manual rather poorly prepared and didn't understand various, basic things and arrangements. But all's well now that I tried something after getting some help elsewhere. [I never did ...

Re: Request MX-23: latest HPLIP 3.24.4 [Solved]

No, I didn't do the installation due to timkb4cq's comment in post #2. Also, since the printer shows up in HP Toolbox and in lsusb, is it necessary to do that installation?

I only have Synaptic not that other package installer mentioned. I'd have to make a switch in Synaptic to install that test ...
