it was the power management, the computer was fine this morning i am going to switch the screensaver and lock screan back on and see what happens

No only 1 monitor on this PC...the 2 monitors was part of my ramblings when i went from Mint 9 with the cube desktop to windows to make up for losing the cube

after trying one or 2 things to no avail i switch off the screensaver and the lock screan thinking that has to cure it , but no just ...

that was my 1st through the screan saver settings but i can't find them ..linux was my main OS for a few years up until mint 9..i only stopped using it when mint 10 broke compiz and i lost the cube i went window but had to get 2 monitors to make up for the lost cube ..this pc i basically use it to ...
