My iGPU should take 512MB, so those are not counted towards the RAM I have at my disposal, I suppose. I still don't get why Hardinfo2 tells me I have 3GiB of RAM thought.

I recently installed 2 4GB RAM modules in my laptop in place of the single 4GB module the machine came with. In my system information it say that I have 3 GiB of RAM and 6.7 GiB available to Linux. I'm not sure what this means and why it's so low, especially where the 3GiB come from ...

Writing this from a 2014 HP 355 G2. I have another laptop, the first one I ever installed Linux on (MX of course) and that's a 2007 Fujitsu-Siemens. Works splendidly.
