Thank you. I’ll reinstall, end up with the same issues that I know can be resolved then come back here and ask for more. I understand it’s just easier to say reinstall. In my particular situation that is like fixing the problem or running away from it.

Hello. First off, please forgive me for not sharing hw/sw info. I probably could if needed but it be a picture of output on pc hassle.
After reconfiguring kernel settings which all seemed to work fine, I deleted old kernels,( saving the current and its previous version).

The latest up to date deb kernel. Per default the mx kernel is the general one that auto updates. I believe my system runs best with systmd.
