Re: Shouldn MX Cleanup have an option to automatically delete old kernels after a user specified number of days ?
If MX Cleanup cant safely remove large amounts wasteful disk space it should be eliminated. I dont see how saving every previous Linux kernel insures system safety, MX Cleanup keeping the current kernel plus one or two previous ones should be sufficient safety. PS: Today's update to MX Cleanup has ...

Re: Shouldn MX Cleanup have an option to automatically delete old kernels after a user specified number of days ?
With Linux, unlike MS and Apple, YOU are the highest level Administrator, nobody trumps you, therefore, with great power comes great responsibility and accountability for your own machine, which means you have the job of a systems administrator, maintaining your own machine/s ;) To give that away ...

Hi, doesn't remove them for you?
edit/ I see, you mean add that to the cron joblist? good idea i suppose, but since running 'apt autoremove' is such a common maintenance task I can see why the devs didn't think it was necessary.
Code: Select all
sudo apt autoremove

Re: High CPU usage by MXPI even after closing
Maybe there's something wrong with the snapshots? Boot up the live ISO, then update it and see if it still persists. Hi Siamhe I'm a little confused as to why QSI includes that statement on the first line. Both installations are from fresh installs. The snapshot I made is just an iso sitting in my ...

HI CharlesV, thanks for the suggestion. Have done a clean of ALL apt cache files and rebooted (old windows habit). I will let you know if the problem persists or not.
edit : sadly the problem persists.

Re: LLM chatbot forum integration? [Solved]
Ok, guys, thanks for your responses, prevailing sentiment noted, accepted and possibly understood! It's good to use the tools where they make sense. If you are on the forum it makes sense to talk to people, if you want to talk with an AI there are other sites for that. In a prompt with a Llama3b ...

LLM chatbot forum integration? [Solved]
Hey Everyone. Has anyone broached the idea of integrating a chatbot into the forum using the entire forum thread archive as context? Perhaps other mx documentation also? I've no idea if the site has already been scraped by LLM trainers, does/would anyone know? It might help users to get quicker ...
