Re: too many wine issues/how fix 32-bit dependencies?
Can't make it any clearer guys. Will leave what seems to be gaslighting, intended or otherwise (through just not reading the post), here where it belongs. Have gone to EndeavourOS; 32-bit support, art programmes fine, games running, and not overzealously locked down root, at last.

Re: too many wine issues/how fix 32-bit?
MY QSI shows a modern 64-bit machine, and from the start my post references missing 32-bit dependencies affecting art and games.
EDIT: added word 'dependencies' into thread title, for anyone not reading the post.

too many wine issues/how fix 32-bit dependencies?
Hello
Was only recently I've tried out some games, after getting new pc early January. Lack of 32-bit wine dependencies is causing too many issues, with both art and games and generally. Add into that wine not seeming to see that I have the right things installed, and too much now locked behind root ...

Re: serious issues with microSD/lanshare/PCManFM + image issues
Just seen further responses. Thanks j2mcgreg . Much appreciate pleasant post and good advice. Thanks to CharlesV also, for the +1. I ended up installing antix 6.1 back then, and machine runs better generally (probably due to running older Mate?), but all the other issues are still there. Given up on ...

Re: serious issues with microSD/lanshare/PCManFM + image issues
I can only refer back to the obvious that I've already said ... no idea, not tech, trying to post and discuss things with a view to solutions, but all it turns into is deliberate criticising and no reference at all to the issues happening. I made the effort to look things up, yet am supposed to be ...

Re: serious issues with microSD/lanshare/PCManFM + image issues
When someone is told to generally search, you read links that all tend to cover generally the same, so you can get a ghist. That's what I did. The Suse link was the clearest explanation of those I read, and, as I said, I wasn't sure, but am experiencing poor performance on the new machine/64ram ...

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's nonsense.
Just remember that any computer operation is only going to go as fast as the slowest part involved can process the data. For example, a USB 2 ...

Re: serious issues with microSD/lanshare/PCManFM + image issues
DukeComposed, thanks for posting but I don't understand much about RAM. All I know so far is I've seen the article which says more ram equals worse performance, and these pesky issues illustrated above show that to be so (my poor panel has recovered, as I blitzed the job and just manually backed ...

Re: FireFox Browser Collects Data Sold ? [Solved]
From reading/watching a range of videos, the new TOS is concerning, as they say anything uploaded or input into the browser is theirs to use/share etc worldwide, as Adobe did, for example, regarding anything created in Photoshop now being theirs to use. It could well be to cover themselves about ...
