Can't make it any clearer guys. Will leave what seems to be gaslighting, intended or otherwise (through just not reading the post), here where it belongs. Have gone to EndeavourOS; 32-bit support, art programmes fine, games running, and not overzealously locked down root, at last.

MY QSI shows a modern 64-bit machine, and from the start my post references missing 32-bit dependencies affecting art and games.
EDIT: added word 'dependencies' into thread title, for anyone not reading the post.

Was only recently I've tried out some games, after getting new pc early January. Lack of 32-bit wine dependencies is causing too many issues, with both art and games and generally. Add into that wine not seeming to see that I have the right things installed, and too much now locked behind root ...

When someone is told to generally search, you read links that all tend to cover generally the same, so you can get a ghist. That's what I did. The Suse link was the clearest explanation of those I read, and, as I said, I wasn't sure, but am experiencing poor performance on the new machine/64ram ...
