I didn't ask for help, just added the information that it is not just KDE it happens on! I was asked to post those details, so I did. Read my first post on the subject "I only joined in so you know it's not just KDE".

I'm having the same problem with the Xfce desktop, it's been happening for some time, in my case straight after booting. Sometimes I have to reboot 2 or 3 times to get audio. I only joined in so you know it's not just KDE.

I noticed a couple of things in your QSI:
-- you should be using the AHS (Advanced Hardware Systems) version of MX with a machine that new.
