From your Quick System Info app please post the mxpi.log (scroll towards the bottom) as a reply here.

Tried to install Wine via MX Package Installer, got following problem. Also tried to install with https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/wikis/Debian-Ubuntu following the guide but gave exactly the same problem. Can someone help please?

Solved! I was dumb enough not to press the small arrow to the right in audio mixer to show up profiles.... Then choosed HDMI profile and everything works!

Whoops, I accidentally marked this solved. Thanks Kermit for the solution to problem #2. Does anyone have insight in HDMI sound problem? Perhaps a driver is missing or something?

Hi! Just installed MX Linux on ASUS laptop. Everything else seems great, but:
1) MX Linux doesn't recognize HDMI sound output at all, for some reason it's not available in Mixer at all. HDMI sound works in Chrome OS Flex.
2) HDMI display resolution is resetted to 1920x1080 instead of the wanted ...
