Re: No private window link when I right click on firefox
Questioning rules is a very annoying behavior for us moderators and admins to deal with, especially if the users start using language that is not accepted. You're lucky we are nice folk, which is why you were not banned, but we have limits. Do not do this again.
The forum should be seen like a ...

Re: No private window link when I right click on firefox
Questioning rules is important. Really. I get the impression that many people never reflect on why it is so, but it is so.Eadwine Rose wrote: Sun Feb 16, 2025 5:56 am Might be a habit to get rid of then, and just accept things as they are wherever you go. Thanks for adjusting your attitude. :)

You agreed to following the rules by registering here. You knew they were there, and sharing the QSI is a little thing to do.
If you don't like the rules, or responses on this forum by the MX Team, you are welcome to seek your help elsewhere.

Re: No private window link when I right click on firefox
That's what I thought. Blanket enforcement of rules even when the rule isn't in the least applicable. Forum dictator syndrome.
You aren't the best person to decide if the rules apply to you. I don't ask for you to respect me, but you have to respect the idea that the forum and its rules exist ...

Re: No private window link when I right click on firefox
That is irrelevant. The forum rules state to share QSI with help requests. 99 out of 100 times we need it.

We've seen a lot of petty dictators since March 2020. Lots ...

No private window link when I right click on firefox
I'm on the latest version of mx kde.
I've always had the option to open a new private window when right clicking on firefox in the panel, but I don't have it now.
Does anyone know how I can get it back please.
Here's a picture of my right click menu.

~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/thunar.xml
(Though this is not a dot file itself )
Sorry I did not reply sooner. I did not know there had been a reply. I don't think I got an email.
Thanks. Now I know there are no extra locations I need to worry about backing up.
