Re: Possible installer bug ref. encrypted home partitions [Solved]

Hello,
This might be a bug, or perhaps a feature request, or(hopefully not) I did something wrong.

My laptop has a MX23.1 KDE install with an encrypted partition for /home. I did another install of MX23.1 XFCE and wanted to share the same /home partition. In the live boot environment i unlocked ...

Re: Question about new packages to be installed

QSI as asked. Also i meant I installed MX 23.1 XFCE x64 from the December 15 updated ISO, which includes the Debian 12.4 point update. I was merely wondering why many(??) 15 or so NEW packages were being installed rather than updates of existing ones. I was guessing it had something to do with some ...

The following NEW packages will be installed:
libcamera0.0.3 (0.0.3-6 ...

64 bit XFCE & KDE boot OK

Can anyone else confirm that 32 bit ISOs of MX-linux boot on Ventoy and this is just my issue?

Re: MX-23 RC2 (Xfce) feedback thread

Installed MX23 RC2 XFCE x64 to real hardware for a multiboot laptop. No issues detected. Works great!

I did notice though from my ventoy(1.93, latest) USB that XFCE 32 bit RC1 ans RC2 fail to boot properly; on several machines. This is probably low priority but I wanted to point it out. x64 XFCE ...
