It would be great to have one video. In Kise, there are so many interesting functions that may be unknown to users. I am still exploring.

1. Extract and copy subfolders to ~/.fvwm
2. Copy ~/.fvwm/setup/autostart/XfceFvwm.desktop to .config/autostart/
or add this file and content to .config/autostart/XfceFvwm.desktop

This is Rasat's Fvwm project made of individual scripts instead of the classic single config style. Just a zip file to be installed in home/<user>/.fvwm. Not a package but script sharing. Rasat can tell more about it.

Kise is updated (1.8.2) with improved startup, XDG Menu, and Keyboard language switch. Also, now Fvwm myExtentions (collection of configs) works with Kise. For example, the Work Virtual Pager config in Fvwm Kise looks and works great. Instead of using the WorkDesk for all, WVP does well for small ...

Version 1.7.0 has feh --bg-scale which scales wallpapers with screen resolution. This looks great....

I just did an experiment and noticed how beautiful and interesting the desk became.

Got an idea, if total transparency could be put into a button that can switch on transparency when the desk is getting crowded. Same as the Iconify ...

The question here is not faster or slower but "How much faster or slower?".

Before I posted, I tested MX, Arch and Fedora using my stopwatch. All on the same live CD. Arch is 8 seconds slower and Fedora 20 seconds. Speed was not the interest but when @user-hv9sg5pl8b made such a show.

I am using Arch Linux and tested Manjaro and Cachy (Arch Linux-based). The boot is slower than MX Linux. @user-hv9sg5pl8b is promoting his favorite distros.
