I finally got it. It needed a Startup WM Class added to it.

No. Still cog. I have put the icon in there.

There is only one correct answer on when to install security updates: once they're available for your system.

I am able to pin this to GNOME's favorites.

I can't pin it to the taskbar. The context menu only says "remove" and that does nothing.

The XanMod kernel is already usable on MX with the official repo, but I think it should also be available in MX Package Installer as well to make installation easier. The main benefits XanMod offers include a much more recent Kernel as a base, with the Zen patchset, and support for Winesync.

I don't know. Not in the Debian repos.
