Re: package request: Stremio (or missing dependency) [Solved]
Libmpv1 was last in Debian 11 Bullseye/MX 21, and has been replaced by libmpv2 in Bookworm/ MX 23. Amd the Bullseye libmpv1 deb is not compatible with MX 23. :rolleyes:
It seems they are building Stremio on an older platform or something like that. :frown: :frown:
Thanks for the explanations ...

package request: Stremio (or missing dependency) [Solved]

The past few weeks I've been searching for the Arch-based version of MX Linux wherein I can still do MX Snapshot functions.
I heard of ...

Re: MX-23 RC3 (Xfce) Feedback thread
@DoodMann
fstab acutally looks correct.
**edit*** no, SWAP should be swap (lowercase) in the /etc/fstab. make that change and
sudo swapon -a
and check free again.
@dolphin_oracle If I remember correctly, it was cased SWAP by default in the installer when you specify a swap partition ...

Also think about the community behind MX. If you have a problem or question, you will be able to simply reach out to the devs in this forum and they will actually provide immediate support. Don't underestimate that "feature" ;)
Oh that's one the the best FEATURES here definitely agree MadMax ...

I prefer MX Linux myself (esp XFCE version), but Q4OS does have a great Trinity desktop version, so if someone likes Trinity, a possible option. It is an ongoing ...

I thought there was the decision to revert the default back to apt for the time being during the alpha/beta phase?
There was, MadMax .
"MX-Updater is back to using apt for a default backend, as nala turned out to have unforeseen issues."
