Re: Automatic display touch surface mapping to correct video outputs with multiple touch screens
Thank's for tip, however I think this applies only for setting the display layout without taking into account the touch screen surface mapping to display outputs. Eg. for me ARandR creates following script on a dual screen setup and does not affect touch screen mapping that I still have to manually ...

Automatic display touch surface mapping to correct video outputs with multiple touch screens
Hello, this is something that Windows knows how to do, and also MacOS with commercial https://touch-base.com/ driver. That company apparently creates some commercial driver on Linux too (for some very specific use case I guess). Anyways, on MX Linux and X11 the external display's touch surface does ...

Re: Todays update / Touchpad [Solved]
@Metaphysik Would the "Timeshift" MX utility work for this? I didn't try it yet but sounds like the nearest match to what you describe.Idea for the programmers of MX - There is still something missing under MX tools: MX Rollback. A system recovery with calendar for MX ;-)

Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
iPhone USB network tethering seems to work only when booting using systemd. Testing with fresh MX-23 Beta 2 installation and `libimobiledevice-utils` package installed. The `idevicepair pair` command doesn't initiate connection with USB connected iPhone (SE 2020) and simply returns "No device found ...

Re: MX-23 beta 1 feedback thread
Sure, glad to help out with the docs. I tested adjusting UFW with KDE firewall settings application to allow incoming SSH connections but found out that making changes through there gives "Please restart plasma firewall, the backend disconnected." error banner when trying to add or remove rules ...

Re: MX-23 beta 1 feedback thread
Seems useful, maybe note about it in documentation to make less people trip on it? @jasalt Can you write me a short sentence or two to use? The Manual is currently being revised for MX-23 so the timing would be perfect. 4.5.1 Firewall section: In MX23, the UFW firewall is enabled by default and set ...

Re: MX-23 beta 1 feedback thread
KDE Connect has similar problems as SAMBA with default firewall settings as noted in earlier comment https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=726569#p726569. While it's probably a nice thing to have firewall on by default, maybe there could be a more verbose info about the possible side effects ...
