ok wifi is working now

i dont how how but its working

i installed Senpai Respin MX-LxQt , and after intalling wifi is not working

iwconfig shows this

lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11 ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated
Retry short limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Power Management ...

thank i have ckecked tint2 manager , would check other later on

tint2 manager was simple , hopefully other 2 would be easy and simple

currently i am using Mx linux xfce version ,
out of curiosity i tried fluxbox version , just love it

i want to customize its taskbar to add shortcuts of programs that i uses , ( like one can all launcher in xfce taskbar )

it is possible to that ?

also can one add icons on desktop or not

look i have very limited computer knowledge , so i thought it would best to install mx linux again

for me it was best and easiest option

wifi is working on fresh install

but again its showing updates , and i am afraid to update it
as wifi might not work again if i update

They came through twice, I caught the first and the second update. Tested my dongle, all is ok. But indeed onboard..

Can you check what the last updates were?

So, it was working with the default 6.1 kernel.

yes it was

there were some updates showing , i updated them

and now when i restarted laptop wifi is not working , it does not show wifi option in connetions

wired connection works fine
