MX 23.5 XFCE
Generally there are Linux equivalents for each type of application, with a couple being the most developed for that specific task.
I thought there would be at least a couple open source WYSIWYG Web Design based applications but I have not really been able to find any to try.

Oh okay so it sounds similar to how things a generally handled, if the current versions from Debian repo are the same as MX repo then MX uses Debian repo, but the components that are already beyond the Debian versions, then of course MX repo are used.

I was wondering, when Debian itself has an official new release, for example Debian Trixie.
Are the XFCE deb packages that MX uses, from the official Debian repo?

I am concerned about the kernel as well but that is an even higher level then the init system and not much choice.
Unless.... does anyone know if it is possible to use Linux without using the Linux Kernel?.... :)

So I am not the only one having some issues with PDF applications.
Sounds like you guys have issues a little more with the creating of PDFs as well.
I have not gotten that far yet, imagine if cannot find a viewer, then the PDF Editor that I am looking for is not going to ...
