WYSIWYG Web Design Applications

MX 23.5 XFCE

Generally there are Linux equivalents for each type of application, with a couple being the most developed for that specific task.
I thought there would be at least a couple open source WYSIWYG Web Design based applications but I have not really been able to find any to try.
People ...

Re: SystemD and Debian Trixie questions

@siamhie
No as mentioned "I understand" sorry that might not have been clear how I typed this.
I meant that I understand what you meant about the DVD ISO not having this, the comment was just still finding the Live ISO containing this to be strange. However turns out the DVD ISO does contain some ...

Re: Is MX XFCE same as Debian XFCE

Oh okay so it sounds similar to how things a generally handled, if the current versions from Debian repo are the same as MX repo then MX uses Debian repo, but the components that are already beyond the Debian versions, then of course MX repo are used.
Thank you guys for the responses

Re: SystemD and Debian Trixie questions

Hmm, no moderators

@anticapitalista
I removed my reply to your post above because I did not realize you were responding to another users comment.
"Just to point out that Wayland does not require systemd."
I think I understand what you meant now that I could see quotes, which were not registering at ...

Is MX XFCE same as Debian XFCE

MX 23.6 XFCE

I was wondering, when Debian itself has an official new release, for example Debian Trixie.
Are the XFCE deb packages that MX uses, from the official Debian repo?

-Not referring to the Appearance of XFCE that MX customizes.
-Not referring to when XFCE itself has new release and MX ...

Re: SystemD and Debian Trixie questions

Ahh where to begin

@AK-47
Thank you for your response.
I am concerned about the kernel as well but that is an even higher level then the init system and not much choice.
Unless.... does anyone know if it is possible to use Linux without using the Linux Kernel?.... :)
MX Team let's get to work on ...

Re: PDF Viewers - Web browser questions

Thank you for the responses.
So I am not the only one having some issues with PDF applications.
Sounds like you guys have issues a little more with the creating of PDFs as well.
I have not gotten that far yet, imagine if cannot find a viewer, then the PDF Editor that I am looking for is not going to ...

Re: Video editor questions

Thank you guys again for the responses.

@Nokkaelaein
Ahh I noticed a new name in this thread, thank you for your response.
Based on what you mentioned, I started to get more intrigued about Blender even though I had ruled it out for other reasons.
I wanted to make sure that video editor would still ...

Feh Image Viewer - View based on Thunar sort

MX 23.5 XFCE

Another type of program that I have had some trouble finding the perfect solution for is an image viewer. Another basic common application that there are tons of, but again all contain little issues.
An issue that all viewers I have tested experience, is being able to view images in ...

PDF Viewers - Web browser questions

MX 23.5 XFCE

With PDF Viewers being such a common/basic application, I did not think I was going to have trouble finding one that was perfect for what I am looking for.
However, many that I have tested are very close but just missing some basic hotkey actions, functionality or strange decisions ...
