Mouse doesn't work-MX23XFCE on BHYVE hypervisor
I have been trying to install MX23XFCE on a BHYVE hypervisor. I've had a MX21 VM running on it for a couple of years. The mouse does not work. I've tried also tried AHS with the same results. Appreciate any assistance.

I receive the following when I use the package installer. No problem with the same user performing sudo apt upgrade. Appreciate any help. Thanks

Re: Elan touchscreen not found
Drive is encrypted. I cannot enter the password in the LUKS screen using the Liquorix kernel. Works normally under 6.1.
I logged the installation process and there are some errors, though not sure if they are responsible.

Elan touchscreen not found
I'll throw this out there:
I have a Dell 3189 Chromebook that I reflashed with Mr. Chromebox's BIOS. It does not see the touchscreen in MX23 KDE and there's nothing in dmesg. The reason I'm asking is it works properly in Kubuntu 23, and it goes without saying it worked flawlessly as a Chromebook ...

MX21 XFCE RDP display issue [Solved]
I have an ongoing problem when I connect to my VM via RDP. The desktop is blank--no icons or Conky--and application windows are missing their controls and can't be resized, closed with the mouse, nor, in some cases, moved. On blank areas of the screen the mouse pointer becomes an X. In the past I've ...

Re: System apps don't work after in-place upgrade
I kinda, sorta, got it to work, but at this point I'm going to restore it to the pre-upgrade snapshot and do a fresh install on a new VM.
