I have a selection of stuff on Deviant Art, not all of it suitable as some clearly made for other distros, the main ones being those I made for PearOS. Just a few recent ones, and some might be bigger than 2 Gb, but feel free fellow users to download and enjoy:

How to remove autodiscovery of printers in KDE 23.1?
Hi,
I made a fatal mistake of screwing up my MX-Linux 23.1 KDE install by attempting to install systemctl and forgot that this is a systemd command!
Why was I trying to do this? I was attempting to stop autodiscovery of printer(s) as what happens with most if not all GNU/Linux distributions these ...

Re: sound disappears on mx23.1 using kodi and vlc
How was KODI and VLC installed? I've discovered issues with apps on another KDE distro that uses snap and flatpak heavily. Using Synaptic Package Manager resolved my issue of AisleRiot Solitaire crashing on launch with the Snap version, no issues with the Apt install via Synaptic. I noticed in the ...

Re: [RESOLVED] Script to load sound drivers and play welcome at login
Changed post to [RESOLVED] as I have not achieved the desired result in MX-Linux as to reach this goal needs Gnome to be present, make the changes in Gnome DE, and it does incur using LightDM over SDDM which brings about a pyrrhic victory. Tried this with KDE neon as did not want to mess up my MX ...

Re: Script to load sound drivers and play welcome at login
Well I have solved the issue! I am also running KDE Neon on another drive. Installed virt-manager and installed Zorin 16.3 as a VM that uses the Gnome DE. I then followed this advice:

Re: Script to load sound drivers and play welcome at login
Hi Jakob77, Thanks for replying. No a password is not needed to play the sound, the sound plays when the login screen appears, prompting user to identify themselves, basically a verbal request to enter username and/or password. I am also wondering if it is dependent on Gnome DE as Ultimate Edition ...

Re: Script to load sound drivers and play welcome at login
Hi, I linked the file to the cloud so you could hear it. It resides in /usr/share/sounds together with desktop-login.ogg and desktop-logout.ogg. I am trying to get it to play at login and it needs an rc script to be placed here:

Re: X11 awol after launching gl-117 game
Can't remember exactly but spotted a gl-117 file after searching for anything labelled as such and deleted wherever it was. Having looked at Xorg.conf.d directory in terminal I spotted that 10-nvidia.conf was not present so created one in nano editor and used same structure as that for 10-amdgpu but ...
