Ich denke Gabriel_M hat nur auf Deine Frage (sehr knapp) geantwortet, es dürften seine Verzeichnisse für die Profile sein.
Der Pfad zu dem entsprechenden Profilverzeichnis steht in der ~/.mozilla/firefox/profiles.ini (für Firefox) normalerweise unter Default= und ist eines der Unterverzeichnisse ...

Nice to know, ff and vivaldi are not working without SSE2 on this old pc.

I had the same problem with xrdp, but after installing xorgxrdp the problem was gone, maybe it will solve your problem also.
And as I remember I also added the user for the rdp-session to the group xrdp, maybe this will enough - just reboot to be sure.

When using the 686-kernel the 686-pae-kernel is not shown, but with using the 686-pae kernel the 686-kernel will be listed.
