Re: AMD Radeon 500 Series Graphics Card Drivers
Try running
inxi -Fxxx in a terminal to cut & paste here.
It's not precisely the same but close enough.
$ inxi -Fxxx

Re: AMD Radeon 500 Series Graphics Card Drivers
We need your computer’s complete profile before we can proceed, so you need to post the output from the QSI utility. The Quick System Info (QSI) utility is located in MX Tools and its output is automatically formatted for use here in the forum. Run the QSI utility, click “Copy for Forum” at the ...

AMD Radeon 500 Series Graphics Card Drivers
I have never used a graphics card before. I have never installed graphics card drivers on my current MX PC.
https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500-series/radeon-rx-590 this link does not list drivers for Debian (at least, I don't think it does).

Re: After update, rtl8812au-dkms causing an error [Solved]
Your QSI doesn't show the hardware the 8812au driver supports. We can't know if you have a usb wifi adapter using that chipset that's not plugged in.
I can't reproduce this error using the same kernel you are running.
The info needed to troubleshoot that would be found in /var/lib/dkms/8812au/5.13 ...

Re: After update, rtl8812au-dkms causing an error [Solved]
Your QSI shows doesn't show that wi-fi device in Network, so just remove "rtl8812au-dkms" package via MXPI or with apt on the command line:
sudo apt remove rtl8812au-dkms
Since having a working network connection is important to most people right out of the box, we include as many drivers as ...

Re: MX-23 beta 2 feedback thread
I am trying to upgrade from 21.3 to MX23. I am following the instructions found here:
https://mxlinux.org/wiki/system/upgrading-from-mx-21-to-mx-23-without-reinstalling/
All is good until I run the following command as root in terminal:
$ find /etc/apt -name “*.list” -exec sudo sed -i ‘s ...

Re: After update, rtl8812au-dkms causing an error [Solved]
Easy:
You don't have the hardware, so just delete that package. That also speeds up updates.
If you do need it:
Try updating to the long term support kernels 6.1.27-1~mx21ahs+1 (this will change as we update the 6.1 kernels) currently in AHS.
Or use a 6.2 or 6.3 kernel we have in there, as they ...

MX Boot Repair is unclear
I have two distros installed on my system - MX and openSUSE. They are on different disks. openSUSE will not boot, so I am attempting to use MX Boot Repair to get to the distro on another disk, but I am very confused about how I'm supposed to use MX Boot Repair effectively.

Re: MX, btrfs, and subvolumes
Ok, thanks!
Quick question- I've got btrfs configured. Snapshots with Timeshift are not instantaneous, though - it takes something like one minute to complete a snapshot.
I've posted on reddit about this but didn't get much help. Someone asked me if my distro (MX) uses quotas, in btrfs, by ...
