Sayonara. It accommodates 2 libraries - one for me and one for my partner.
Cheers.

Screen resolution wrong in live USB from snapshot [Solved]
Hello again people.
I've taken a snapshot of my system and created a live USB from it.
The screen resolution in the live system isn't right. My monitor is 1920x1080 and the live system looks to currently allow only 1280x800. My MX system from which the snapshot was taken gives me the required ...

Re: Automatically updated kernels for MX23.3 with KDE [Solved]
Thanks people.
Thanks for taking the time with detailed postings.
I installed Debian 64 bit. During installation I could see that the system was constructing components of the 6.1.0-21 kernel. I selected it from MX Boot Options. But after reboot the 6.1.0-21 option wasn't in Advanced options in ...

Thanks, people. But I am thick. If I'm using 6.1.0 and I click on and successfully download Debian 64-bit does that keep my 6.1.0 updated?
Given my current level of understanding, I can't tell from the postings whether the answer to this is yes or no.
Much appreciated ...

Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated.
You can see from my Quick System Info that I'm using the 6.1.0-10-amd64 kernel.
Here's what my Package Installer says:

Automatically updated kernels for MX23.3 with KDE [Solved]
Hi people,
I'm trying to get a handle on which kernels in a MX23.3 KDE system automatically get updated. Can you please tell me if what I've written below is correct?
For MX23.3 with KDE the only installation I could install from today's download page that's part of the automatic kernel update ...

m_pav Thanks a lot for that info in the posting above. It's what I've done and everything is now working OK, including reboots.

Thanks for the post and thanks for taking the time to make it.
What I don't yet understand is how-to allocate the necessary permissions.
I asked how to do this in a topic I created last year: https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=76668&sid=8399c1463fd91a6f7bdbf1642b56a7b5 And thank ...

Re: Data SSD gone read only [Solved]
I've fixed my problem now.
I've transferred my data files to the new disk that I now use as my data disk.
I tried to update the kernel. In fact I downloaded one (6.5.11-4-liquorix-AMD64) and it's listed in MX Boot Options as one of the alternatives that Advanced Options for MX23.3 Libretto offers ...
