You need that just for me to find out if anyone running mxlinux has got this to work? That seems a bit extreme. Let me know and if you still want it, I'll comply.

I've tried two different version of mxlinux not, 21.3 and now the latest 23. I can't get SDL graphics to work with gforth on either
version. I know that it works on some linux distributions but, I'm kinda convinced that it doesn't work on mxlinux.
Has anyone managed to get it to work? If so please ...

Thank you. removing the file did the trick. I'm kinda surprised that it uses files for that purpose.

I tried to add mysql to my computer and found out that it has been superseded by mariadb. All good.
However, in the attempt a repo for mysql was added that gives an error when I run updates.
Here's what I get when I run "apt update":

Tonight for the first time since the latest nvidia update, I tried to play minecraft. It failed to launch. The error indicated a problem with the nvidia drivers.
The nvidia x server settings utility says I'm running ver 470.161.03. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

The libreoffice connection makes sense. I still would like to know if there is a way to configure the updater. I'm beginning to think one can't.

I removed firefox using the mx-installer. I checked the history for the updater and it only goes back to my last reboot. That was after I removed firefox.
