Re: bitlocker mount problem
Also, the dislocker in MXPI can decode/mount my /dev/sda2 partition, it failed with the windows OS partition on nvme, I needed to build the latest dislocker from github. It seems Windows is doing new things with bitlocker/encryption and this is why I guess gio/mount/Thunar will need fixes.
As ...

Re: bitlocker mount problem
Resizing went well, I booted on the MX usb stick and used gparted to resize multiple partitions even my /boot. Problem is MS changed something in bitlocker so I'm using dislocker for the moment, it works

Re: bitlocker mount problem
In my honest opinion the best way to resize the bitlocked Windows partition would be with the Windows tools to avoid any bugs that might have crept in gparted and friends. Microsoft most always be updating Bitlocker code, thus there might be changes that aren't readily handled on Linux side.

First, you are on an older MX version and may not get much help with this.
Second, there are some utilities in the repo's that might help you.
- MX Select sound will help you choose a sound controller choice and you may find that is the issue.
- Indicator-Sound-Switcher ...

Re: installing openvpn-dco-dkms fails [MX 23.6 AHS] [Solved]
Thanks for the suggestion, but for the time being the backports (both openvpn and openvpn-dco-dkms) from OpenVPN work just fine!
The idea of a package request for backporting is about, that It may help other users, to get a working deb-package into the repo's. and may reduces number of future ...

Re: Distros you tried but didn't like
I tried Arch and I gotten to dislike it because it got a bit fiddly especially when having to deal with the AUR for some package I loved on Debian (and not in the main Arch repos) and wanted something similar for Arch. but EndeavourOS distro made it more bearable.

As Trixie brings in Qt 6.8.2 there then should be a newer qBittorrent as a native package when MX-25 ships as 5.1.0 is is in Trixie.

Re: MX25
The upcoming Trixie release that would become the foundation of MX-25 will be certainly be a major change from the Bookworm base of MX-23 so I'd agree that a fresh install of MX-25 would be the way to go, so as to avoid any major issues if you are on KDE as going from Plasma 5 to 6 is a huge change ...
