I tested a clean install and also tested via the upgrade method posted on the blog by Adrian. On both occasions I had issues with thumbnails for .mkv files not appearing on mounted drives.

Edit: I have rectified this by making an xdg/tumbler/tumbler.rc in .config and changing max file size to 0 ...
