What respin? The issue was resolved only by using another desktop envirnment and removing xfce.

If there had been a work-around "check mark" would have used that instead.

As is, apparently there's a glitch with the xfce de and the snapshot causing the issue that doesn't seem to appear within at least either Mate of Cinnamon. *shrug*

Issue is not exactly solved. Best that can be done in order to still use the Snapshot with full function of MX is to use another desktop other than Xfce. Presently using Cinnamon.

Recently tried reinstalling MX XFCE with snapshot. Wallpaper is stuck on the default. Will not change with any of my own wallpapers or any of the system wallpapers.
