(So much for my recent eye surgery!)

Re: HOW-TO: Using KDE Weather Widget

Re: HOW-TO: Using KDE Weather Widget
I actually think that the fussiness is with the yr.no site. If you put the format required by the applet into your browser, it doesn't work. It's as if it needs different urls to view the site in a browser, and access the info needed for the widget. The openweather url works as it is. It's ...

2) I have found this application reasonably useful for:
* creating a basic icon for programs I develop
* manipulating the sizes for things such as a window header icon, a project logo size icon and other sized icons ...

Re: MX USB Maker / minstall experience
I disagree, AFAIC it is perfectly simple.
However, it could do with:
a) a "Review Choices" step just before it starts formatting & writing over the existing root directory.
b) a clear choice to NOT overwrite /home that works! The current status is that if I am restoring from a USB Maker drive, even ...

Re: /mnt or /media?
The FSH (v3) says
3.12. /mnt : Mount point for a temporarily mounted filesystem
3.12.1. Purpose
This directory is provided so that the system administrator may temporarily mount a filesystem as needed. The content of this directory is a local issue and should not affect the manner in which any ...

Re: MX-21 beta 1 feedback thread
To the user manual writer.
On page 43 (of the MX 19 version) there is a link to the Red Hat Manual for configuring network printers. That link is no longer correct. The new link is

Ahah! Finally found it! :number1: (After about a day wandering through the Xfce docs - thanks JayM)
For the benefit of anyone in a similar boat...
For MX 19 the .config file is ~/.config/gtk-3.0/no-ellipse-desktop-filenames.css (now that makes sense 9_9 )
