I use apt notifier to keep my system updated, this morning during the upgrade I got this error and upgrade stopped:

Just got a new nvme and reinstalled, used 23.5 instead of 23.4 and the problem is gone.

Leave the scaling at the default setting and just raise the DPI. My HP 15's resolution is 1920 x 1080 and all I did was raise the DPI from the default 96 to 120.
I tried that and it didn't work, any other suggestions??

IN XFCE, I just increase the DPI setting. Can you not do the same thing in KDE?
you mean change the DPI to fix the problem in KDE?
i dont know, because it says "changing DPI values from default will conflict with many apps" on the tooltip of "force font DPI", and i have seen enough broken ...

I use it a lot to rescue peoples data off Winblows machines, it just utterly amazes them I can do that with MX, but they refuse to even try it.
