Yeah, that might do it, but I already fixed it by doing everything in mxpi in a certain order. thanks

gnome-boxes should pull in all required dependencies when installed, all the extra work should not be needed no matter if you use MXPI or apt-get.

gnome-boxes is coming from the Debian repos, not ours, so when you use MXPI it just does the same manual steps and downloads and installs if from ...

I think this is limited to Boxes only. I don’t use Boxes, so it’s gonna take a bit for me to figure out what is causing the problem, unless ...

Have you used Virtualization on this computer before? Often you need to set this specifically in the computers BIOS or UEFI setup Utility. It will be specific to the computer you have, what kind of BIOS it uses and also whether it is an Intel or AMD CPU.
