so since the skype repository from microsoft is enabled, this whole thing is probably triggered by an actual update from microsoft, and skype was already installed. that repo is set by skype installation when the package is installed.

that said, right click on the the quit-skype entry in your menu and post the run command its using.

"Quit Skype - Skype" was installed by MX Updater, but I don't know from what package it is. Then after removing the package "skypeforlinux" I installed a Skype flatpak using MX Package Installer.
