Hi,
I like my installation's settings, tweaks, etc... I would like to populate the world or at least my laptops with this bliss. Can I do this ? I remember Peppermint Linux had a way of creating such a beast.

I feel dumb. This has not happened to me before. I installed the latest version of MX. I went to toolbar preferences and changed the setting to horizontal. Now the toolbar is at the top of the screen where I want it, BUT every single app opens "under" or "behind" the toolbar such that I cannot ...

but, solution 3 is not a solution. add a note to your desktop and try it. the only way to remove a note is right click along the frame of the note (has to be the frame or outline) and wait for the menu to pop up, there is a delay, but there is a delete option ...
