Workrounds in MX19: please do a forum search. I seem to recall at least one thread discussing alternative ways to connect to one's google drive.

By installing kaccounts-* and related packages you should be able to connect KDE to your Google account. Then using the kio-gdrive package, you should be able to mount your Google drive easily in Dolphin. I've done this previously using Manjaro KDE, and it was straight forward to set up and was ...
