SQLyog and some CRM client.
I would love to run Xara (Photo & Graphic Designer), but it's unusable so I have to keep my old win10 VM.

You can manually edit the /etc/detault/locale file to something like this (sl_SI is obviously slovenian)

I don't like music libraries, so Audacious for me :)

Flameshot doesn't work well on Wayland
I had to move back to Spectacle (which works well, but needs some customizing if you're used to Flameshot)

regarding players... it's a personal choice I guess. I use Audacious as audio player (QT interface!) and VLC as any-other-media ...

If you're planning to install MX on used/refurbished Thinkpad(s), I would suggest you replace the disk with a new one. Everything is just much easier then :)

I created my own custom colour scheme
Settings > Appearance > Colours, edit en existing scheme and save it (if you want to back it up, the location is ~/.local/share/color-schemes)

If you can't make Gnome Maps work, I suggest you try Marble Maps (KDE) or Google Earth


Strangely, Marble shows me atrocious image resolution no matter how much I tweak the settings. GNOME Maps may be an annoyance to open, but it has perfect image quality.

Use MX Repo manager to change repos.

Could also be temporary and a fix will come.

My default is it.mxrepo.com, but I'd also tried mxrepo.com and nl.mxrepo.com
There is no wine-staging directory at https://mxrepo.com/mx/repo/pool/ahs/w/
