Hi, every body
I want to display in the login window, in addition to local users, remote users. (using lightdm)
In lightdm.conf , there is a line remote-sessions-directory= .....
I suppose we have to put there the list of remote servers!! but how to configure them ??
Please, if anybody has an idea ...

the system and displays freez
Hi everybody
I am using MX23.
Often The system freezes, the keyboard does not work, the mouse moves but the click does nothing.
I have to log out with CTRL+backspace or reboot nothing else works.
Please any idea how to fix the problem
My machine is a laptop with a small screen, I use a 1920 ...

I use snapshot to customize the distro, I prefer systemd as default booting, I modify the grub,cfg,
but, it seems grub.cfg is regenerated, my modif is not there, how to do it?
Secondly, I think the sudo group should be removed from /etc/adduser.conf, otherwise allusers can become Superuser ...

I tried to create a simple " hello" module, but I got this error: ( The source header is installed :

1. in the file /etc/adduser the sudo group is enabled for all users,
this is a breach security. I mean any user can execute any command
using his sudo.

Hi,
I copied the MX23-alpha2 in usb (as usual I used ventoy),
The boot started correctly,then I got the message "Couldn't find antix/linuxfs", but the file exists!!!

I checked the minimal MX 21.3 ( I want to customize the distro)
I installed it , that is OK.
I plugged and USB, it is not mounted automatically, I opened the thunar manager but there is no button for the usb.
the program thunar-volman is there.
