Ctrl-Alt-Backspace and the login screen seems to indicate that you must kill X (that's the Ctrl-Alt-Bckspc) and when X restarts it obviously brings up the login window (if no auto login)
For me on the MacBookPro unfortunately it's just a black screen, only way out is hard reboot (power button)

Hi,
is there a specific reason why so many dev library dependencies are in this package?
I manually installed the latest mx version (dpkg -i -force-all) and it works flawlessly without all the dev packages.
