Re: Broken Desktop and Widgets

Recently this old version of Event Calender widget caused the whole plasma desktop of KDE Neon and Sabayon to totally crash when you log in. Black screen, no wallpaper, no panel, no widgets. Only my conky was running.

Some web research revealed that the old version of said widget was no longer ...

Re: [SOLVED] Nvidia Driver Bumblebee makes Kernel Freeze

Now nvidia-smi shows:
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| NVIDIA-SMI 450.66 Driver Version: 450.66 CUDA Version: 11.0
One question : when in your post (or process) you did install CUDA Version: 11.0 _?

Well... I didn't. But I noticed it too.

UPDATE!!1¡one!¡!1
It's seems to work!
Focus on the nvidia PRIME feature on the Debian page . What I did was:

Install the nvidia driver 450 from Test Repo with Mx Package Installer
Install nvidia-vulkan-icd ...

Re: [GUIDE] How to properly install Nvidia Non-Bumblebee drivers on Optimus Laptops [Solved]

Hi, I follow this tutorial using MX with KDE that uses sddm as Display manager and the setup script is in /use/share/sddm/scripts/Xsetup.
I reboot after step 5 and got a black screen in tty7.
The Xorg log says

Code: Select all

(EE) No divices detected.
(EE) Fatal server error
No screens found
Any suggestions??
