ZBook crashes (turns off unexpectedly) when running on battery. So, (to make it sure) can we say no problem when power adapter is plugged ?
If yes, you can install tlpui from MXPI Test Repo, and see on Gui what's up ..
(or remove tlp for now to see if it helps, later you can install again if ...

ZBook crashes when on battery
ZBook crashes (turns off unexpectedly) when running on battery. Also when waking up from sleep... Makes system unusable for any serious work.
Are there any special Bios settings or some other settings that could solve this?

Yes, you are all right. It is an old machine, and I could probably use a lighter distro. The thing is, I like MX Linux especially in combination with KDE. I don't mind it being sluggish a little, just that it doesn't freeze. I am writing this now using Waterfox and it is better. Thanks for the help ...

Firefox freezes the system - the mouse barely moves
Hi,
Newly installed MX Linux.
While using Firefox system slows down to a standstill. Can only move the mouse, but barely.
Waiting doesn't improve the situation.
Any tips?
System: Host: <filter> Kernel: 5.6.0-2-amd64 x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 8.3.0
