there could be other reasons its not working. not sure what though. xrandr scaling might throw it off, not sure.

the question that now runs into my mind:
either the bug kicks in when removing all additional workspaces in a default vanilla mx-21.3 installation or it was just 21.3-upgrade related ...

I think its the default.

it's not.
starting here was the important explanation in the video.
i disabled "with a dragged window" setting. it was enabled by default.
may i should notice i use mx without additional workspaces.

edit: i suggest to make it disabled by default because it's difficult ...

the option is may still present but it does not work regardless of being activated.
to be clear: i mean windows splitting automatically to half when moving far left or right and splitting to quarter when moving far to an edge. so ...

its still present, and in the same place.

ok not that kind of a problem.
another thing i remember is when i archivate a 3 gb file into a .tar file for some reasons.
sometimes the whole thunar fileexplorer closes after archivating has finished. but the file was never damaged from that. at least ...

window-autofitting gone for mx-21?

hello

finally i find the time to write following feedback regarding the big xfce update in january.
nothing bad to write but the autofitting windows when moving them far right or left or to corners.
the fact that it's gone is definitly a pitty and a regression for mx-linux' high quality in general ...

Nothing very important for now. It would had fit into my time plan and I was unsure weather I should wait or not. In rare cases one two times it crashed to host-desktop since I used 7.0.4 as ...

How could "own risk" be meant? Not working perfect ingame? A slightly older version is in bullseye stable. So I see no big trouble adding it to test repo.
