dolphin_oracle wrote: Sat Jul 18, 2020 3:22 pm Dumb question from me...did you say yes to the agreement. For whatever reason the default is no.
Not a dumb question at all. I just realized I have to scroll all the way down the list to select "I Agree". My assumption was to just click continue.

It just installed fine.

Re: MX-19.2 KDE Beta 2 Feedback Thread

More feedback:

I have a dual monitor setup, and when I don't align the secondary monitor exactly to the middle with the primary, the screen is "off" with a black bar on either top or bottom of the screen, and the mouse is offset, so it's difficult to click on things.

Just saying how it is from a UX perspective. I'll go ahead and figure things out for myself, and post back here on how to do it for anyone else that's interested.

I figured it out. You have to right click on the volume icon in the panel, go to general, and uncheck "Volume feedback". I was ...

Purge off the nvidia drivers and then install steam. Then reinstall the nvidia drivers

Alright, so I just did a fresh install of Beta 2. I did not install the NVIDIA drivers, and when I went to install steam, I did get the agreement window this time around, but also got an error through the MX ...

dolphin_oracle wrote: Sat Jul 18, 2020 12:35 pm Ok that's weird. Will look into it but for now it's probably easier to reinstall.

Oh the joys of beta testing.
Thank you! I actually like being the beta tester instead of the dev fixing bugs this time around.

Okay, so I just did the following:

sudo ddm-mx -p nvidia

And it removed the proprietary drivers. I then went to reboot, and got an error.
