Why do you do it?
I have been using MX-linux for, I dont know, three or four years now. To me it is perfect, especially since you released the KDE version, and is more stable than my wildest fantasies could imagine after distrohopping for years. I would like to ask all of you who contribute to this distro to make it ...

Re: Slow shutdown in MX-21 KDE
I have noticed the same thing. Its no biggie, but now that you mentioned it and i noticed in your log that you have a delay with kdeconnect, after I removed it there were no 10 second delay anymore.

Re: MX team has done it again!
The video driver problem isnt caused by MX, it happens with all distros I tested (debian based at least) which doesnt install the proprietary driver during install, so of course I'll stay. It took a little thinking and experimenting to solve, but it is only good to jog your brain once in a while :)

Problems with Nvidia driver installation on MXKDE-21 [Solved]
I have installed MXKDE-21 on its own drive on the same machine where i use MXKDE-20. Since I have a newer Nvidia Geforce 3060 card and Nouveau driver does not support it, i set "nomodeset" in the kernel parameters. Then it boots to the desktop in low resoultion. So I install the Nvidia drivers from ...

Re: Problems installing vpn for work (systemd error) [Solved]
I had a similar issue with my VPN software from OVPN. It didnt work in sysvinit environment, but fine in systemd. So I have been running in systemd for a year now. I have not experienced any difference running MX when booted with systemd. Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try. Many vpn apps don't ...

Re: MailSpring - new open source email application
It is not very new actually, I have been running it for 3 or 4 years now in many differet distros and I am happy with it. It is the closest thing to the best email client in Windows: EMClient (which I miss dearly in Linux) I had no problems installing it from their .deb package and it works fine in ...

Re: Problems installing vpn for work (systemd error) [Solved]
