I have just tried using the lan and wireless internet connection at the same time on my linux mint cinnamon desktop, no issues I was able to surf the net and use the LAN with no issues.

Does anyone know why this is?

it sure does, I really like the quick info application, ill be using that function again! Do you know if it is accessible by CLI just tried it and yes you can CLI with the command... quick-system-info-mx.

still having the same issue. I have adjusted the priority so the lan is 0 and the wireless is -100 and restarted the pc. this has not made any difference. is there something I am missing?
