Fluxbox Menu Editor GUI
One of the chief reasons I stick with Fluxbox is the menu which is fairly simple and configurable.
With the MX-21 however I can no longer utilize the python gui app known as the Fluxbox Menu Editor https://sourceforge.net/projects/fluxmenu.berlios/ .
It has worked dependably for me over years of ...

Re: trouble seeing cursor
Thanks for the replies! I noticed that I had installed big-cursor 3.10, which might be ideal, but I do not see where or how to implement it. I will play around some more and maybe find a better solution. For now, I am trying the olympus cursor.

trouble seeing cursor
I often have trouble finding and seeing my cursor. Maybe it is due to having a screen that shows more detail and pixels. I am always looking for more visible cursors.
Anybody have a similar concern who found some simple solutions?
I would love to know.

Re: The real way to check the forum
I love dipping into the Forum for ideas and feedback, but I must admit that I am often overwhelmed by it, and am not making the most efficient use of it.

Re: New MXFB video available
Dear i_ri,
This is absolutely wonderful, and your code substitution for the keys file works even better than how I configured my fluxbox window manger in the past! I didn't know I could cycle through windows as well as screens!

Re: New MXFB video available
I used to be able to scroll workspaces by scrolling above the toolbar for the reason I cited.
I know it is possible, but don't know how to make it so now.
My intit file line is set to false; I typically keep 5 workspaces.
Thanks anyway.

Re: New MXFB video available
I really enjoyed this video, particularly about the app to make idesk easy. I hadn't noticed it, and had previously edited my .lnk files individually.

Re: Problem to get xplanetFX to work
I too have had trouble with xplanetFX.
I tried it in Fluxbox and XCFE.
I can get a decent rendition of xplanet (older CLI version)-- but it is quite difficult setting up (though the man page is straightforward).
There is no dedicated man for the xplanetFX version.

Thanks!
I will try your code after I understand MX-Linux better.
I am still trying to understand how it is working for my paricular setup.
And I am still impressed! Whether I do it your way, or my super-intuitive but woefully ignorant way-- it still is working for me beautifully!
