During installation I accidently allowed MX to claim all available disk space for itself. I tried to shrink it with Gparted, but it refused to budge. How else might I shrink this giant partition? So,
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
won't work?

sudo apt-get update fixes it.
I assumed that "...maybe run apt-get update " was a message for someone on your end.
Shouldn't that have been done on your end?

I gave up on tbird 78.14. I am forced once again to recall why I have always hated Mozilla. They are pathological liars and will never stop forcing all users onto their latest product.

What is the best place to download thunderbird 78.14.0 for MX?
There are several places to download from, but I don't see one specifically for MX.
