Two 'MX Tools' in menu
After upgrading to MX 21, I have two listings for 'MX Tools' in the Whisker menu. Both listings have the same contents. What can I do to clean this up?

xfce4-display-settings popping up
I recently upgraded my MX from 19 to 21.3. Now, a peculiar phenomenon is occurring whereby every 10 minutes the xfce-display-settings window pops up. As the below shows, it's the xfsettingsd process that is starting them.

ffmpeg with libfdk_aac2 support
I would like to request the addition of libfdk_aac2 support in ffmpeg.
I am currently using the Debian Stretch version of ffmpeg to get fdk_acc support. However, the packages that were upgraded as a result of installing ffmpeg from Stretch have broken GIMP for me. (And if I continue with upgrading ...

Re: Where (eg. a script) is Conky started from?
The file $HOME/.config/autostart/conky.desktop starts it by 'Exec'ing, as Jerry3904 states, ~/.conky/conky-startup.sh

Re: MX 19.1 AHS updated even more ISO
I've installed this ISO, and have a couple of questions. /etc/mx-version has "MX-19.1_x64 patito feo February 15, 2020". Is that correct? I thought it had 'ahs' in it before. (Could just be my memory.)
More importantly, the description has "backported 5.4.19 kernel (5.4.0-3 ABI)". However, 'uname ...

Re: Resize Using Top Edge
Gtk themes if not maintained may become incompatible with newer versions of gtk toolkit used to make current Gtk applications.
I don't think that's the issue as the theme I'm using only has a xfwm4 dir with image *.png files and a themerc file. Thus, my (ignorant) thinking is that the default ...

Re: Resize Using Top Edge
It was derived from Greybird, I think. Not sure. It was quite some time ago. If the switch the theme to Greybird-mx, then I can resize vertically from the title bar. However, when I switch back, I can't.

Resize Using Top Edge
I'm using a window theme that I brought over from my previous SolydX installation. I've noticed that I cannot resize windows vertically by grabbing the top edge/title bar of the windows. The sides and bottoms work find, but the title bar doesn't cause the mouse pointer to change for gripping and ...

Re: Thunar right-click menu length
Edit ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css, and just below
/*set custom gtk3/css code below */
add
menu .menu #menu {
min-height: auto;
}
I figured out this does not work;

Re: MX 19 Repository: The Liquorix Kernel Thread
I found a problem with Liquorix 5.5 in that Ctrl-Alt-F1 brings up a non-working console (blank screen except for a non-responsive blinking underscore cursor). If I boot into Liquorix 5.3, then Ctrl-Alt-F1 does get me to a working console.
Can anyone else confirm working/non-working console under ...
