I try to switch from Picasa to gThumb (Digikam is already too much for me). I like that GPS-Data are shown on a map. But *.mp4 are not shown, only an empty placeholder for each mp4. I connected the external SSD to a laptop with ChromeOS Flex and ChromeOS could not read the SSD, too. I then went to the last Windows-PC in my home and did a which did the trick. There was an error in the mirror of the MFT-table which was fixed and SSD can be mounted now. Thanks Fehlix!
