Yes I ran it from the USB drive, then used the installation icon on the desktop. There is no /var/log/minstall.log file, I seem to be running from the USB every time... I install to MBR... Thanks for the suggestion...I was able to disable the secure boot...I double checked that is was disabled...tried to perform the install again, same message boot device not found.

Suggestions?

I've tried installing 6 times using the installer on the desktop but when I attempt to run without the USB says: Boot device not found ...
