Quick questions about the flash plug-in
Hello, I've been away for a while, so forgive me if these question have been answered already. 1. I've been updating my flash plug-in manually from the Adobe web site and notice that the version of flash for Linux is now in sync with Windows and Mac OSes (the current flash version is 25.0.0.127 ...
Re: MX Flash
Thanks. The mx-flash package for mx14 is version 15.6.1. This one fails to open. Does the 16.7 version still work, and if so, can it be installed in mx14?Adrian wrote:The package name is mx-flash (I think we used to call it mx-flashmanager before). There should be a mx-flash version 16.7mx15 in the repo.
Re: MX Flash
When I tried to re-install mx-flashmanager, I discovered that the package was removed from the repository. Was it removed permanently or will it be available at a later time?

Re: MX-15 - favorite KDE tweaks
Around February 2014, I posted a list of things I had to do in order to get KDE up and running on MX-14. I haven't attempted this with MX-15 64-bit as of yet because things are much too busy ATM, but I'll probably get around to it sometime in January '16. It should only take 15 minutes to get a semi ...

Re: Firefox or Chrome
I've had scrolling become jerky once when a script is running in the background on Firefox. The remedy is to close and re-open Firefox. It doesn't seem like this is your problem, but you might try the NoScript add-on just to make sure. Did you recently "upgrade" FF to a newer version? Any other ...

Re: Firefox or Chrome
Re: Firefox Try resetting the FF profile and see if the jerky scrolling goes away. Rename ~/.mozilla/Firefox to ~/.mozilla/Firefoxbak and restart Firefox. That will create a brand new profile. If the jerkiness goes away, then it's something in the old profile that caused it -- maybe it's a ...

Re: Youtube upgrade has killed minitube
Minitube 2.5 is now available. The Linux version seems to be a small incremental change from 2.4, with most of the changes involving OSX. But it's reassuring to know that Minitube still being actively developed and supported. Upgraded to Qt 5 HiDPI (aka Retina Display) support Mac style overhaul ...

Re: MX-User Manager
FWIW, the last time I ran bleachbit on my MX-14/KDE setup and let it do its thing, I lost most of my desktop settings and had to start over. Needless to say, I'm not a huge fan of bleachbit. What I generally do is check for large files or directories using KDirStat, and figure out if those files or ...

Re: Update erroring out
Which upgrade version of HPLIP is showing on your end? I'm not sure that we have the same repositories enabled -- I generally leave the test repos disabled -- but I just did an "apt-get update" and no upgradable packages appeared on my end.
