I still think users should try disabling hardware acceleration, which is enabled by default now (didn't used to be ).
Hi, that solved the issue. Due to the non usable Version I have switched back to version 83 via Synaptic, disabled hardware acceleration, updated again to 87 and it works now ...

I de-installed the package "chromium-sandbox" via synaptic. Now Chromium is again working, but I believe that this is not the solution? How to get it up and running?

Kernel Sandbox was disabled. But enabling and rebooting did not solve the issue.

after the Chromium update today the browser stops working or crashes when try to open the first web page.
Starting via terminal gives the following message:
$ chromium

Thanks for your reply, but also with the two sources I do not get the new version of virtualbox-ext-pack. The version in synaptic remain 6.1.14-2 mx19+1. All others are version 16

Just received the update for VirtualBox. Unfortunately the Extention Pack is missing or can not be loaded. The Version is still 6.1.14 when checking via Synaptic.
