AntiX 6.1 kernel
Hello MX community,
I use antiX 5.1 kernel on my MX23 installation, because it’s the only one that runs smoothly with my dell XPS 7590 laptop, even when it is unplugged. Other (debian or ahs or liquorix) run well with laptop plugged, but do not wake from sleep state when unplugged.
I would like to ...

Re: Rsearch, a rofi files search tool
Hello thomasl
Since your previous post I have tried again fsearch and checked the sorting abilities ! It is indeed powerful and snappy.
Personnally I don’t need regex or other abilities for my daily use, and I value more the "polished and frugal" experience with rofi and rsearch.
As for fd, you ...

Re: Rsearch, a rofi files search tool
Hello,
Thanks ceeslans and thomasl !
I do use fsearch as well. I remember fsearch was not able to sort results by modification time when I tried, a few years ago. Perhaps I just didn’t found it…

Re: Rsearch, a rofi files search tool
Hello josevidal ,
Thanks for your post.
The way this script uses rofi is "dmenu" mode : it takes a file (or STDIN) as an entry, show you the files with its nice fuzzy search, and gives the selected file back to your script. It’s the script that tells which action is done on this file (and this ...

Re: Lossless sound to lossy sound - muscomp script
Hello,
Thanks to sunrat post I have made a v2 of muscomp script.
It now features a more useful "sync" mode (s or sync option) with recursive search in given folder(s). Furthermore :
- converts files only if a similar-named file does not already exist in destination
- will sync lossy format files ...

Re: Lossless sound to lossy sound - muscomp script
Hello sunrat ,
Thanks for your post, I was not aware of acxi ! it is not exactly in the same "category" (4000 lines instead of 200 for muscomp), and I cannot compare my script to the work of inxi developper…
