Re: whisker menu search field top bottom [Solved]
Right click on the Whisker Menu (just to avoid confusion, the button not the window), click "Properties", then "Appearance" Tab, and uncheck "Position search entry on bottom". Worked! the difference was the "Position search entry next to panel button" on MX-23. Thanks again; marked SOLVED.

whisker menu search field top bottom [Solved]
On my MX-21 the search field is at the top of the whisker menu. On my MX-23 the search field is at the bottom of the whisker menu. Searched the manual, youtube, and forum, could not find setting to move the MX-23 search field to the top. System: Kernel: 6.1.0-31-amd64 [6.1.128-1] arch: x86_64 bits ...

Re: Window maximizes at top [Solved]
I believe what your looking for is in Window Manager Tweaks, on the Accessibility tab and uncheck Automatically Tile Windows when Moving Towards the Screen Edge. Well, I'll be; Window Manager Tweaks has different tabs then MX-Tools -> Tweaks -> Window Manager. Tweak_WM.png WM_Tweaks.png Thanks

Window maximizes at top [Solved]
Just installed MX-23 after years of MX-18. If I grab a window I can move it to the right, left, and bottom past the edges without snapping; however, if I move it to the top, the window maximizes, if I back down a little it returns to default size. I would like the window to behave as the others. I ...

Re: MX 23.5.1 ? [Solved]
I was thinking of upgrading to MX 23; should I wait? Upgrading from what to MX 23? MX-18; still works good without updates. I tried using live MX-23, but ran into BIOS issues and current partition; I had setup an sda5 ext4 extension partition and a little leery about losing it, sda1 ext4 for root ...

Thanks @FullScale4Me , @DukeComposed
One set of rules containing allow and deny statements affecting Home, Office, and Public; that sounds reasonable.
Thanks again.

Display gufw profiles in ufw [Solved]
gufw has three profiles: Home, Office, Public
When using ufw in terminal, which profile is it accessing?
Is there a way to switch among the three; I checked: man ufw and ufw -h, did not see any information.

Re: Hash Sum, Fail to Fetch errors ... [Solved]
Turns out it was simply a very weak wifi signal; moved next to router, no problems.
